There is a Japanese art called Kintsugi, which uses gold to mend broken pottery. Cracked teapots, chipped plates, and broken bowls are repaired with gold highlighting its imperfection, but in doing so, what was once broken becomes stronger, more unique, and more beautiful. Everyone has cracks, chips, and breaks, but we believe, as with Kintsugi, our flaws can also be healed to create a stronger, more unique and beautiful person.
Meet Nicole Giron, LMHC
Compassionate, Authentic, and LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy in Olympia, WA
I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are, without judgment, expectations, or pressure to be someone you're not.
I'm Nicole Giron, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and LGBTQ+ therapist with experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families since 2010. I also bring my lived experiences to the sessions being both AuDHD and Queer.
My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through connection, understanding, and feeling genuinely supported.
As an LGBTQ+ therapist, I recognize how important it can be to find someone who understands the complexities of identity, belonging, relationships, and navigating spaces where you may not always feel fully accepted. My commitment to affirming care is both personal and professional, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel respected, valued, and empowered.
I specialize in Play Therapy, EMDR, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, and identity-related concerns. As a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and Supervisor, I integrate evidence-informed approaches while recognizing that every person's experiences and needs are unique.
You don't need to have the right words, know exactly where to begin, or have everything figured out. We can start wherever you are.
Everyone Deserves a Place to Belong
Inner Peace Therapy welcomes individuals and families of all sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions, and backgrounds.
Our goal isn't to tell you who you should be. It's to support you in discovering what healing, growth, and authenticity look like for you.
